Uganda - Kabuuka Immaculate - Natural
This is one of the coffees that we’re very proud of, and very excited to share with people. It comes from a smallholder project in Uganda’s Rwenzori Mountains run by close friends of Morning Glory - Eli & Immaculate. The coffee itself is full-on strawberry, pineapple and milk chocolate. We’d pick this when we want to impress someone. It’s honestly insane.

Most coffee in this part of Uganda passes through at least three pairs of hands before it reaches anyone who can process it, and the farmer rarely finds out who bought it. Empaako Collective was built to cut that out: growers deliver their own cherry, get paid to their phone the same day, and hear back about quality. This lot comes from Rosemary Kezabu's group on the Kitonya and Karangura hills.
